Matt Jordan :: Director of Golf- PGA |

;) A Hinckley resident, Matt brings to us 12 years of experience as a PGA professional. He began his career locally working as an Assistant Professional at Briarwood Golf Course in Broadview Heights where he helped manage the course, direct lesson programs and facilitate large outings. He then moved to the private club experience as the 1st Assistant Professional at The Sharon Golf Club in Sharon Center for four years. There he learned to fine tune tournament and lesson programs as well as conduct member events, He found himself shortly after chasing the mini tours around the country.

Kurt Parker :: Asst Golf Professional |

;) Kurt brings to us four years of professional private club experience from the Sharon Golf Club where he worked as their Assistant Professional. There he began a successful junior program and learned how to organize member events and outings. He is also a 2008 graduate of the University of Akron where he majored in Business Administration. Prior to becoming a Zip, Kurt was a member of the Division 1 Cleveland State Vikings golf team. Kurt is excited to be a part of Blue Heron to add his knowledge gained from both school and work. Jeremy Slota :: Superintendent |

A native of nearby Wadsworth, Jeremy earned an A.A.S. in Turfgrass Management from Ohio State in 2000.
His twelve years of turf experience began at The Country Clubs of Fox Meadow as a crew foreman. Jeremy moved on to Signature of Solon, a sister course to Fox Meadow, where he was the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent during its grow-in phase. Prior to joining the Blue Heron team, he was the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Legend Lake Golf Club in Chardon.

Brenda Smith :: Director of Food and Beverage Operations |

Brenda has been a Manager at Blue Heron since February of 2005. She came to Blue Heron from Westfield Country Club where she was the Food and Beverage Manager. Brenda has 35 years of food and beverage experience. She has managed at The Olde Jaol, in Wooster, where she was the Fine Dining Manager and Event Manager. Brenda worked for the Pines Golf Club in Orrvile, taking on the duties of Club Manager and Event Coordinator. She was also the Food and Beverage Manager and Event Planner at the Pine Tree Barn in Wooster for 10 years as well as the Catering Manaer and Event Planner for Buehlers Milltown in Wooster. What Brenda loves most about her job is working with the people. Her forte is Wedding Planning and Coordination. She takes on the responsibility of overseeing the entire banquet department and coordinating events of all kinds including Golf Outings, Bridal and Baby Showers, Anniversary Parties, Birthday Parties and numerous of other events. Away from Blue Heron, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family and grandson. She has a daughter and son and a new grandson who was born on August 11, 2009. | Pam is excited to be a part of our facility as she brings us over 20 years of golf experience. She is a Class A LPGA Certified instructor with articles published in Golf for Women as well as countless juniors who now compete in the collegiate level. Pam is able to teach in a very simple and understandable way using drills, on course instruction and instituting all kinds of clinics to target your golfing needs.
